Note:

In the interest of being better able to keep this list up to date, I'm no longer going to be posting my own synopsis/comments about the books I've been reading. Instead, I'm just going to post the blurb from the cover. To be honest, it takes a lot for me to not like a book, so you can pretty well bet that only the keepers make it to my booklist.

My Big Fat Supernatural Wedding

anthology
Most anthologies have a theme and this one was, of course, weddings.

There are 9 short stories in this volume, which to me is too many to mention individually. It pretty much covers the whole supernatural realm. You've got vampires and werewolves and demons, there's ghosts and curses and wizards, there's even an Elvis impersonator.

If I had to pick a favorite, it would probably be Dead Man's Chest, by Rachel Caine. It features a bewildered bride, a too good to be true bridegroom and a cursed pirate ship. And let's not forget the pirate captain who, if this were ever to be made into a movie, would definitely be played by Johnny Depp.

I shelled out for a hardback version of this book and it was worth every penny.
